Project Overview:
A state-of-the-art food processing facility uniquely designed to accommodate the changing needs of multiple artisan food producers
Freedom Foods, in addition to producing its own products, works with artisan food manufacturers to develop, produce, and package their products. To meet the needs of multiple, flexible production areas that must be sealed and positively pressurized to prevent air infiltration, the facility utilizes a modular wall system that allows for complete reconfiguration of the interior walls.
This 25,000 sf building features a “front of the house” test kitchen, meeting rooms, and office space, as well as anti-microbial coatings and easily-cleanable surfaces to support the facility’s SQF certification. It is constructed with a highly energy-efficient thermal envelope, solar tracking skylights with daylighting technologies, and LED lighting with occupancy sensors, resulting in a very energy-efficient building.
