Addition/Improvements
Project Overview:
A new addition to a wastewater treatment facility, designed to house a new granular activated carbon filtration system and associated process piping
In constructing the addition and structural improvements to this municipal facility, a new state-of-the-art 38,000 gallon wet well was installed, along with new pumps, a new chemical feed system, and new 16-foot, 10,000 lb carbon filter tanks.
To meet the challenge of a minimal-clearance condition for the installation of the new tanks, we developed a specialized, creative rigging approach. A system of mini rails was constructed, onto which the tanks rested and moved into the new water treatment plant with ease.
