Project Overview:
8,000 sf renovation and fit-up for Slate, one of the region’s favorite lifestyle and home retailers.
An expansive show room floor, space for people to gather and design, as well as ample shipping & receiving spaces were created to support this growing business’s bricks and mortar needs.
Existing walls and mezzanine areas were demolished and reconfigured, while finishes and lighting were upgraded. New casework was installed to support retail display and point-of-sale needs, and custom racks to display unique housewares and other items were fabricated and installed.
The exterior of the building received new paint, lighting and signage, with a focal improvement on the entrance vestibule with new energy efficient storefront installed.
This work and more also required close coordination with local authorities to resolve code deficiencies in the existing space.
