DESCRIPTION:
A unique Field Engineer position has been created for the emerging construction professional that is already certain that their professional management goals reside on the build side of Construction.
The Field Engineer will follow a slightly modified version of NCC’s PE Development Program which will provide you with an excellent opportunity to advance your career through diverse, hands-on field and project management experiences. Your role will include the immersion in the full life cycle of projects, where you will engage in all aspects of a project from pre-construction through post-construction closeout.
In lieu of additional project management role exploration, a Field Engineer’s experience will receive additional training and skill development that will focus on project documentation, quality control and safety program support, project information flow, trade and vendor support, scheduling, and overall project coordination.
NCC’s PE Development program provides an immersion into all aspects of a building project, with an opportunity to be exposed and closely mentored in a project from start to finish. This approach provides a well-rounded and solid foundation to advance your career.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Field experience a plus
- Good communications skills
- Strong organizational skills
