Neagley & Chase Construction is pleased to announce that team member Matt Tanneberger was recently certified by the Building Performance Institute (BPI) as a Building Analyst & Envelope Professional.
The Building Performance Institute (BPI) is an organization accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), that provides training, testing and certifications to our Industry’s leading contractors, installers, and tradespeople. From the Building Performance Institute (BPI): “By getting certified as a BPI Envelope Professional, you prove that you have the skills to optimize and verify the installation, operation, maintenance, and performance of building envelope systems, and are able to improve their interaction with other building systems.”
Matt Tanneberger’s critical role for Neagley & Chase as a Field and Project Engineer, means that he is well-versed in a project’s envelope details well before construction even begins. His deep understanding of a project envelope’s design, materials, methods, and performance standards are now equally matched with his ability to observe, critique, test, and look for areas to improve air tightness in every project detail, from a project’s start to finish.
Matt is currently using his knowledge and skills to ensure high performance enclosures on the Shelburne Library & Town Center Project and the new Performing Arts Center at the North Country School in North Elba, NY.
