Peter Nelson
Project Superintendent
Peter began his Superintendent’s role with NCC in 2013, after more than 30 years of prior experience working in supervisor and carpentry roles. As Project Superintendent, Peter’s duties include the direction of all phases of construction and coordination with various trades for completion of the project. His calm demeanor, strength in scheduling, coordination and communication are incredible assets to a project’s successful execution.
Peter has extensive experience delivering some of our region’s highest performing buildings. Net zero energy, airtight building envelopes and high performance mechanical systems have become a mainstay in his building projects, with impressive results achieved across the board. Several of his recent sustainable affordable housing projects have been panelized wood-framed projects, adding another level of specialty construction skills to Peter’s extensive qualifications and experience.
Outside of work, Peter loves spending time with his family and finding reasons to use his tractor around his property in central Vermont.
